Tim Scott’s girlfriend lives in Canada. He met her at Niagara Falls; they wouldn't know her. [twitter]https://twitter.com/axios/status/1701589819346874849?s=46&t=kf1qYlCXQnKgUhJWEIu2vg[/twitter]
It's disappointing that in this day and age anyone still cares about whether a candidate is gay/straight/asexual or whatever and that they have to trot out a partner or family to enhance their image. It is what it is....
Well that is a Republican concern. The Dems are not nearly as focused on such issues. Where are the gay republicans? The first openly gay republicans elected to Congress is George Santos. And is a known liar and con-artist. Is he actually gay anyway? Everything he says is a lie so that could well be a lie as well.
DP. Still laughing at the bolded. Dems are the ones who keep bringing up the subject of Tim Scott and his girlfriend on this thread. I assure you, no one else cares. Just the usual liberal hypocrites.
Democrats are saying this is a reason Republicans won’t vote for him. Democrats won’t vote for him because he is a Republican rubber stamp.
So - Democrats who spout the party line, they must be Democrat rubber stamps? Is that how your "logic" works? Very odd.
Sure. It’s not complicated. Partisan Democrats don’t support partisan Republicans. Partisan Republicans don’t support partisan Democrats. But that wasn’t the point of the post. I was responding to the dopes who implied that Democrats must be bigots to say Scott’s bachelorhood is a problem in the Republican primary, when of course what we are saying is there are bigoted Republican voters who won’t support him.
