And I know someone called Yui, so I might guess that.[/quote] Ulysses is a name most English-speakers know, but Uly is definitely not. I can't imagine that it would occur to me that it was a nickname for Ulysses - I would be picturing Yuli and would think it was a foreign name I didn't know.[/quote]
