It won't work -at first- b/c there are too many out there. Thanks, Republicans.

But over time, those will age out, you have gun buybacks, etc. And those numbers will go down. Maybe not in my lifetime as I'm older. But over time.

It'll take time, but that's the hope. We'll need Gen-Z, who grew up in this age of Republican-enabled mass murder, to take the dominant leadership role. That could involve re-making the Supreme Court with justices willing to re-interpret the "well-regulated militia" part of the Second Amendment the same way the current SC re-interpreted the settled case law Roe v. Wade. Alternatively, it feels like we're at a copy-cat precipice where these mass murder events are going to completely spiral out of control (i.e., many more than now), and the Republicans won't be able to ignore it any more.[/quote]
