It's disruptive to everyone when a good chunk of kids are out on the same day like for a religious holiday when school is held. Teachers will be less likely to teach new content on that day, or to give an exam, which holds everyone back. Or if they do, then teachers have to take their time to catch up the kids who are out. And obviously huge disadvantage to the kids who are out, but my point is that it impacts teachers and other students too.[/quote]
