This is because Hillsdale is a reputable, highly selective and well-regarded college.  I loved the letter they wrote:

"This drama around teaching Michelangelo's 'David' sculpture, one of the most important works of art in existence, has become a distraction from, and a parody of, the actual aims of classical education," spokesperson Emily Stack Davis wrote in a statement. "Of course, Hillsdale's K-12 art curriculum includes Michelangelo's 'David' and other works of art that depict the human form."

i am not sure if you are deliberately obtuse of what. ONE person objected AND THE PRINCIPAL WAS FIRED. ONE person objected to the showing of Disney's Ruby Bridges AND THE MOVIE WAS PULLED.  this[b] BECAUSE THE LAWS PASSED BY THE GOP, particularly in Florida but this is happening everywhere, with books pulled from public libraries SO NOBODY CAN READ THEM not just the wackos who are protesting[/b].
