[/quote] Indians are obsessed with the skin color of a baby. My mother in law talked about nothing but our children's skin colors. She was thrilled when we produced two very light skinned children. My great grandmother was British, and my DH said that his mom accepted me because I was likely to "lighten" the family. [/quote]
