Those who hang on to their properties and sell when prices are up often obtain financial advantage not available to them otherwise. And if they keep living in their property, then their QOL goes up too. The only issue would be replacement of formally affordable businesses with the yuppie high cost groceries/eateries/shops/grooming etc.. [/quote]
