I think some have student leaders do this as a nice gesture. But a neighbor applying has received the same thing. At other schools where the interviews went even better, we have received no communication other than the minimum to schedule things. At yet another school where we know she is already in, we have also received no communication other than the minimum. Just hang in there and try not to think about it until acceptances come out.
