If you take Trump out of the equation then I think Haley has a good shot. People love DeSantis for his whole flamethrower schtick, but DeSantis hasn't had to "perform" on a national stage yet. His press is pretty tightly controlled. Remains to be seen if he can have the same success if he has to face national press.

Haley could be a great VP candidate (certainly better than Harris), but Logan and DeSantis have much more substance and solid track record. Both have performed well during difficult times in swing/ moderate states.[/quote]

Why in the world would either Trump OR Hogan want Hogan to run as Trump's VP. What would be in it for either of them?

If Trump runs, it'll be Haley, MTG, someone like that.[/quote]
