I like it a lot. However, they are over priced. Also, even though interest rates are rising in the market is falling, they are holding steady on the pricing. Of equal concern, 8 feet into Ashburn elementary, which is one of the lowest rated Montgomery county elementary schools for some reason just check out great schools. It also feeds into WJ instead of Whitman or Churchill. But it is priced as if it is in a premier school district. Lastly, the market themselves as downtown Bethesda, but they’re not. They’re across the street from Montgomery mall basically. I think the townhouse it should be in the high sevens
You are obviously not from around here. Houses in the "high sevens" get torn down to make room for the $1.75M homes. They even feed into WJ (imagine that)! Looking at redfin, There are exactly 2 homes in 20817 on the market in the "high sevens." Here is one. https://www.redfin.com/MD/Bethesda/6107-Dunleer-Ct-20817/home/10637040
Was referring to townhomes, not single family homes, in the non-Whitman district, and especially the Ashburton Elementary district which is the lowest ranked elementary school by far in the county. I have no idea why - its in a nice area but its LOW ranked: https://www.greatschools.org/maryland/bethesda/855-Ashburton-Elementary-School/
Of course you were. Guess what? There were NO TOWNHOMES in the non-Whitman district (what gives with that?) that were priced in the high sevens for sale. NONE. This townhome, feeding to Ashburton, just sold for $880,000 in November!!!! https://www.redfin.com/MD/Bethesda/6731-Eames-Way-20817/home/110057891 And another for $887k https://www.redfin.com/MD/Bethesda/10108-Baldwin-Ct-20817/home/10701338 I did find this townhome that feeds to Ashburton listed at $870,000 https://www.redfin.com/MD/Bethesda/10404-Breuer-St-20817/home/110057944 and another townhome feeding to Ashburton listed at $859,000 https://www.redfin.com/MD/Bethesda/10421-Fernwood-Rd-20817/home/110057659 for comps, as they are both relatively new and the same non-downtown Bethesda feeder to a non-Whitman school. (And no, we are not in an Ashburton feeder neighborhood, but it's absurd that you think you have any idea about pricing in the area)
