When people with salaries opposed to social security/pensions relocate in mass numbers, you can talk. The influx is still primarily retirees and second vacation homes for tax purposes. [/quote]

This has been happening over the past few years.  
These articles explain some of the reasons people have relocated to FL.  The second piece highlights several new FL transplants.... none of them are retirees.

And, my own anecdotal data jives with this...... I know 4 families who have relocated to FL in the past two years.  None of them are retired.
