The Republicans thought that people were going to vote for them because of drag queen story hour or because a single transgender woman did well in swimming. How many people do they think these issues affect? Then there’s abortion. An attempted coup. And all the boomers moving to FL and TX and slowly dying off. I imagine their demographics will get harder and harder in time. I read that 20% of the population is boomers right now. In ten years it will be 10%. In twenty years boomers will be 2%. Good luck with your elections centered around trying to make drag queens illegal and telling transgender women that they’re just men when almost no one in the country has any sort of interaction with these groups. Vote for us and we will ban drag queens, make transgender kids stay closeted and force transgender women to use the men’s bathroom. What important issues!
Sorry, I couldn't hear you over all the hyperbole. Your entire post is just ludicrous.
You’re just lying at this point. Aside from the bathroom one, it’s basically what’s been said in this very thread. The bathroom one I could show you in other threads.
FACT: No one has *ever* even suggested that "drag queens be banned / made illegal." FACT: No one has *ever* even suggested that transgender kids "stay closeted." FACT: YOU are the one who is lying. I was being generous by using the word hyperbole. You're just straight up lying.
In Florida “ • Social gender transition should not be a treatment option for children or adolescents.” https://www.floridahealth.gov/_documents/newsroom/press-releases/2022/04/20220420-gender-dysphoria-guidance.pdf A bill that would criminalize drag queen shows: https://www.newschannel5.com/news/bill-would-criminalize-public-drag-shows-and-other-performances?_amp=true Why do you lie so much when they can so easily be proven to be lies?
Since you continue to lie and only post selected excerpts, I'm here to help you tell the whole truth. • Social gender transition should not be a treatment option for children or adolescents. • Anyone under 18 should not be prescribed puberty blockers or hormone therapy. • Gender reassignment surgery should not be a treatment option for children or adolescents. o Based on the currently available evidence, "encouraging mastectomy, ovariectomy, uterine extirpation, penile disablement, tracheal shave, the prescription of hormones which are out of line with the genetic make-up of the child, or puberty blockers, are all clinical practices which run an unacceptably high risk of doing harm." • Children and adolescents should be provided social support by peers and family and seek counseling from a licensed provider. Obviously, they are referring to MINORS when they say 'children and adolescents.' I'm in complete agreement with that. Minors should never be given irreversible medical treatments/surgeries based solely on gender dysphoria. Once they turn 18 and are legally adults, they are free to do whatever they want with their bodies. I'm also in complete agreement with the last line - children and adolescents experiencing gender dysphoria should absolutely be provided social support and counseling. As for your link to drag shows being "criminalized" - first of all, you claimed people in this thread were saying drag shows/performers should be illegal. THAT is a lie. No one ever said that. And in your link, you neglect to mention that this bill only addresses drag performances IN PUBLIC - not in nightclubs or private venues. In other words, you can't head down to your local playground and expect to be able to perform in drag. I have no problem with this. Why do you? In the future, please include ALL details and not just the ones that fit your extremist narrative.
And what about the line which you for some reason didn’t bold? That says that minors should not socially transition? That means stay in the closet.
I didn’t bold that line because the PP (you?) had already posted it - I was bolding all the OTHER pieces of information you neglected to post.
