I speak for only myself, obviously….. but, it’s not that dead bodies are disgusting. It’s that embalming, decorating, posing, and displaying a rotting (albeit slowly) corpse is grotesque.

Look, I am a true crime junkie, and I have looked up more than my share of dead bodies….strictly for gratuitous curiosity. Still, there’s no way I want my loved one’s bodies to be put through that grotesque process.[/quote]
