This comment so perfectly exemplifies how much MM cannot win in this world. Literally no matter what she does, people will criticize.

If she'd worn a simple black suit, people would have made cracks about her acting career.

If she'd worn a dress coat, she would be accused of trying to copy Kate.

If she'd looked better, she'd be accused of trying to grasp for attention.

If she'd looked worse, she'd be accused of not trying hard enough for the occasion.

Imagine trying to get dressed or function in a situation like this. If I were her I would want nothing more than to hop a plain back to LA so I could go hang out in the pool with my kids and forget all about these horrid people. I wonder if she regrets falling for Harry. I really do think she just fell in love and got swept up in the royal fairy tale aspect and had no idea the degree to which both the press and certain members of the family would instantly seize on her as a target for their suppressed rage.[/quote]
