Oh they believe in "state's rights" for sure. They believe it in the original sense from back in the Civil War when "state's rights" really meant "state's right," the right to allow human beings to own other human beings.

Now make no mistake, they'd go back to outright chattel slavery for black and brown people if they thought they could get away with it, but since they know that toothpaste is out of the tube they're settling for owning women's bodies, owning people and forcing them to work unpaid via the criminal justice system, owning workers via wage slavery and literally holding their lives hostage by tying healthcare to your job and refusing to implement universal healthcare. It's the Republican way - keep people pregnant, poor, sick, and compliant to squeeze every cent of profit out of them for their corporate overlords.  [/quote]
