NP I don’t think there was ever any implied threat about R’s taking over.  :roll: The point was that they cannot handle being in a vibrant and diverse city because sometimes that comes with petty crime. So if petty crime is causing them to flee then that’s a feature not a bug. No one seriously believes R’s will move in in sufficient numbers and pose a threat when it comes to elected officials. Let's look at Manassas.

Manassas is 35% White, 11% Black, 6% Asian, 43% Hispanic for a total population of about 38,000 people.

DC is 40% White, 41% Black, 5% Asian, 11% Hispanic for a total population of about 690,000 people.

How is Manassas far more diverse than DC?[/quote]
