If they're pretending to be 15, they're allowed enough to drive with a licensed driver in the car, which means that the parent who can't drive accompanies this student as a passenger to and from school. If this parent's illness is getting worse, they may have to drive all by themself, which they'll be able to do next year when they pretend to be 16 but are really 14 or 15.[/quote]
