So not the same thing. Different kinds of biking/swimsuit is like comparing different length skirts or shorts. I would never think that an 8 year old needs to wear skirts below the knee or people would think she is sexy. The same way as a girl in a bikini is not sexy… unless they are wearing a padded bra, make up and heels… then I would think it’s weird, inappropriate, and an attempt at sexualizing a child. A small/big bikini does not do that AT ALL and there is something wrong with you if you think it does… and I can’t help you either.[/quote]

That’s crazy. Yes, I would be ok with both as long as they are not padded to give the illusion of breasts (couldn’t tell about the first).
The idea that bikinis are meant to be sexy is crazy. How is a bikini sexier tha a one piece? Because the belly is such a sexy part of the body? Again, I am not American, but I really don’t get it.
I understand thongs and push up/padded bras, but normal bikinis like the ones you linked? Totally fine for me or my daughters.

Are Norwegians and German families who go to the beach fully naked (adults and kids) sexualizing everyone? All European/south American moms sexualizing their daughters when they put them in bikinis?

Different cultures have different mores.  Are Indians “insane” because they expect less skin to be showing than Americans (belly aside)?
