I’m pretty sure there a small but growing hockey parent constituency in Ward 3 that don’t want to schlep all the way to Montgomery County for ice time. Couldn’t be more than a few hundred votes but surely nearly all of them live in Ward 3. [/quote]

Yes, I want a council member to be concerned about the actual needs of a sizable number of constituents who live in Ward 3, not the special interest of a handful of families who are tired of driving their kids to an extra curricular activity that they chose for their kids knowing that there was no ice rink in ward 3.

School overcrowding, pre-K seats, safety, homeless people, development, bike lanes - there are so many real issues that will affect a significant number of Ward 3 residents.  If Frumin can't hear how ridiculous he sounds to the vast majority of Ward 3 residents when he talks ice hockey rink then he is really unqualified for this seat.  [/quote]
