Who cares? None of this gives her a pass on plagiarism.  She cheated. She got caught. She had a fancy PR firm try to defend her and she should be ashamed.

DP. You people cheat all the time beginning with sending your kids to private schools because it has the connections to get your dumb kid into an ivy or eq.  You are just jealous that your kid didn't make it as far this girl did.

NP: For her sake, I hope she didn't cheat on exams/papers because they are coming for her. I'm sure Duke/professors are checking her work as we post. The Duke Chronicle announced that it is reviewing all of her editorial contributions. Also, I think the speech will cause problems for her, at least in the near future, e.g., job offers, grad school, etc.[/quote]
