I'm a pp, not the OP, but my kids have the same 3-year gap and at 2 and 5 it's miserable when they are both home for weekends or vacation. We just got back from a week-long vacation and I'm more exhausted than when we left. I am counting down the days to next fall, when they will both finally be in school/preschool.
