[/quote] Agreed. Shelters are chock full of unwanted dogs. Anecdotally I knew a litter (my grandma's neughbor had the puppies and my aunt and uncle each got.one) where one male was neutered and one was not. The unfixed male was this drooly, humpy dog who died of cancer relatively young while his brother was a good companion dog who lived to 15 (old for a retriever). I'm a cat owner and I'd never ever have an unfixed cat. Too many kittens already.[/quote]
