Y'all afraid the audit will show racism alive and well in MoCo?
There is no question about it. Discrimination and targeting of immigrants, people of color and minorities are prevailing in many communities in MoCo. We have a long way to go. My only issue is we must also focus and promote academic excellence along with the social equity. We cannot ignore one for other.
How exactly is MCPS targeting and discriminating against minorities. We have tons of programs just for them that whites are not allowed.
Have you been to a W? There's all kinds of crazy incidents at those schools. Just search the board.
This is correct. For example, just 2 months ago three Whitman students murdered a man in the stairwell at the Bethesda Trader Joe’s in a planned marijuana robbery. Oh wait. That’s not the example you were looking for?
"Authorities say all three teens are residents of the Greentree Adolescent Program – part of the National Center for Children and Families (NCCF) shelter on Greentree Road" https://bethesdamagazine.com/bethesda-beat/police-fire/three-teens-charged-with-bethesda-killing-were-whitman-students-lived-in-youth-shelter/ Not your typical "W" students, but it's interesting that "all kinds of crazy incidents" are attributed to the school.
