[/quote] Dual citizenship is mutual recognition of your double citizenship countries by these two countries; that is, they realize you are a citizen of both and recognize you as such, with mutual rights and responsibilities. It is usually governed by a treaty between two specific countries. Two citizenships is just that; you hold two passports. Or more. When you're in one country, you're treated as a citizen of that country. When you're in the other country, you're treated as a citizen of that country. Both countries behave as if in their eyes, your "other" citizenship does not exist. [/quote]
