There was also a really cool record shop sandwiched in between (or near) Commander Salamander and The Pleasure Chest. They would let you pick out a record and listen to it over the speakers to see if you liked it before buying. That's the place I first heard OMD. The whole area made such a mark on my teen years - I'm sad that my own teens have never experienced it like that.[/quote]
