Politically, I am a Democrat but I am also probably an elitist who believes competition can be healthy, and I hate how advanced education and advanced students have been neglected under the policy push for integration and equity.  If you told me that all the Democratic party’s education propaganda and  “principles” were funded by Chinese and Russian nationalists, I would believe you.  Smart, hard-working kids need to be challenged and pushed by their teachers AND their peers; they don’t need to be dumped into classes with other average and below-average students.  It’s in the COUNTRY’s interest to develop top-caliber scientists and thinkers.
