Please all, read the best study on masks, the Bangladesh random control trial - cloth masks didn't work, and surgical only reduced spread by 11% for people 50 and over (and this was all in a pre-vaccine environment too.  For those surgical cases vs. control, how many less cases out of those 50 and over vs. control group = 20 cases!  It's very debateable whether that 11% was even caused by masks, considering spread was lower when people wore red masks and other cofounders.

This is a surveillance testing thread, not masks.  And I agree with let it rip.

We can't continue living like this. Don't get tested. Testing only results in more quarantines. For what? For a virus everyone will get. It just results in healthy kids missing school to lamely try to delay the inevitable.

Hospital capacity in VA and locally is completely fine. There's 0 logistical issues with letting it rip.  See OP's original post refuting other common pro-testing arguments.
