Exactly.  The ignorance of the people on this site is way too deep to understand.  Those Ds voted no bc they could…Pelosi knew she had the votes.  She’s one of the most badass effective Speakers this country has ever seen and so she knew she could get it done and let people in her party send the message they wanted to.  It was all perfect.

LOL yes she got it done. After some choice words over the past week-and-a-half and no thanks to the Squad. Pelosi was pissed off on October 28th. For good reason.

Just because the end result was preferable, doesn't mean it wasn't a struggle to get there and it shouldn't have been. This bill should have been passed months ago.

Pelosi may have been mad at the Progressives among her people. But I imagine that on the most important level she’s furious that only 13 Republicans cared enough about infrastructure to vote for this. 13. This could have been done months ago had the other 200 Republican freak bags in the House decided to govern for the greater good. I seriously do not understand why you guys are belaboring this point about the squad - and the message, in case you’re illiterate - is that Infrastructure is only half the agenda that Democratic voters voted into office.
