I truly believe he isn't in charge anymore. The progressives initially refused to back down after ordered to on Friday in the House vote and they held out two weeks before when he was flying off to Europe.

Biden was quoting as wanting to sign the bill right after 11PM EST on Friday night when it passed Congress. He was persuaded to move the signing to Saturday afternoon with a press pool. That signing has now mysteriously moved to November 15th.  :roll: Knowing every day of delay the money for projects and groundbreaking ceremonies for needed infrastructure is delayed as well.[/quote]

LOL, not going to happen. This infrastructure bill was the biggest lure, and now that it has passed the House, Biden has no choice but to sign it. If Biden vetos the bill, there will be even worse blowback for next year's elections. There is no more pressure for Manchin and Sinema to agree to anything on the BBB bill. [/quote]

The idea there is if the CBO doesn't score the BBB bill the way they want it, the progressives want Biden to veto infrastructure. He won't. But it'd be nice to just move on. They've been after BBB since April 2021.[/quote]

Seems like the progressives played their hand not voting for infrastructure. Can't see what there is to try to get out of them now - or what reason in all the world there would be to cater to any of their demands about this big popular bill that just passed. [/quote]
