[twitter]https://mobile.twitter.com/TheRealHoarse/status/1456977734022754309[/twitter]
We can both understand how to do math - and understand Pelosi's job - and still find the squad's vote and behavior to be unacceptable.
Unless you're their constituent, it doesn't really matter what you find unacceptable.
I haven’t heard a whiff of anger, frustration or even awareness that 200 Republicans voted against infrastructure. Lots of group think going on here. Let’s think harder, people.
The difference is that I don't vote for Republicans because I know they are going to be obstructionist a-turds. I expect more from Democrats. I also expect Democrats not to undermine the party's own platform and achievements.
“Of course I know the GOP are just terrorists at this point!” How did their vote undermine it when it didn’t change the outcome and Madam Speaker was okay with it?
I don't know. I'm not in some realpolitik alt universe. I'm just looking at some high profile "Democrats" who voted against getting clean water for Flint and better subway tunnels in NYC and I'm sure they feel very principled doing it but it sure looks sh***y to me. I'd be p*ssed if my Rep voted against a massive bill that was going to fix the roads and tunnels in my community. I'd be pretty effing pissed if I were a Virginia Democrat who'd have preferred not to have an R governor and might have gotten more votes for my guy if the Dems had passed this bill two weeks ago with all of the Dems in line. You tell me why I can't be irritated with the squad for their hopeless protest vote.
