If FCV really though evergreen was make or break, how did a new club with no resources manage to outbid them? To me that means 1 of 2 things, FCV and BARCA don't view evergreen as that important or necessary or Revolution vastly overpaid and will be crushed by the debt load. Having seen other clubs' 990s (revolution doesn't have any publicly available through the IRS), I don't think thank any but a hand full of clubs would have the assets to purchase a facility that expensive and certainly none of the smaller clubs [/quote]

Do you really believe FCV sought out a partnership with Villarreal because they are so aligned soccer wise? They knew of the sale and they needed a partner club with fields.[/quote]
