In her case it sounds like she is trying to make the best of a difficult situation, and find joy in the simple things because what you describe isn’t perfect - I actually empathize with her. Maybe she’s doing the best that she can. And you don’t want to be her friend because she doesn’t want to hear you criticize her life and focus on her struggles? She is better off without that kind of friendship, geez.[/quote]
