Yes, the "nice white parents" conversation is important, but I don't see how this advances it. And I admit -- as one of those nice parents in Ward 1-- it is easy to feel damned no matter what. I'm either "abandoning my neighborhood school" or I'm "gentrifying my neighborhood school." [/quote]m
