Yes, she is 12 now but completely capable. She has straight As. Also when I was her age I babysat after school! An 11 year old can be pretty independent. I have a job. My job as a parent is to raise responsible, independent, and kind kids.[/quote]

Hardly. I have friends w 4th graders (twins) who don’t supervise DL. They take their breaks and see the clock and know when to log back in.

You’ve jumped off from a hypothetical making a different point (a mother losing her job bc of time spent looking after kids, and that getting called racist), and continue on as if the point is that you can not supervise 4th graders.  Do you have an issue reading context?  Is that it?[/quote]
