[/quote] It’s actually a few things: yes, mental illness needs to be addressed in this country (the GOP is certainly hostile to anything to do with helping people, so once again, responsible governance falls on the Democrats). It’s pretty apparent that this guy commit a hate crime; reducing Asians to “the people fueling my sex addiction” is racism. It’s a fetish. And finally: we need common sense gun control. The whole “mental illness” thing is a red herring, as is the debate over whether or not this was racially motivated (it was), meant to distract from gun control. [/quote]
