You are so wrong. All that bombast and bile is a part of the culture of Republicans. If liberals/Dems were drawn to that, we'd have our own equivalent, but we don't. See Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, John Oliver, Trevor Noah, VEEP, etc. We also do overly earnest political drama, like The West Wing and Madame Secretary.
