Johnny Depp is broke, mentally ill and pathetic after being a big star. All of this despite being male, White and Christian in Hollywood, USA. Priyanka on the other hand is strong, rich and successful in her life, despite being female, non-White and non-Christian in Holly/Bollywood in usa/India. At some point intelligence and EQ will triumph. She was also good in studies...and I bet JD was an underachiever in school.
What you're leaving out is that Johnny Depp is and always has been a HUGE movie star in the US. She has yet to make it big in movies here. And no one cares in Hollywood if you have a PhD or went to clown college.
These responses are so small minded and provincial. She doesn’t NEED to make it big here. She could try, she’s ambitious so why not try? But she’s already big around the world. Asia, Middle East, Africa, as stated previously a toy company in England made a doll after her. The majority populations in around the world know her. I mean she was Miss World, she’s a UNICEF ambassador, TIME magazine had her in their ‘Most Influential People in the World’ list, Forbes magazine had her in the ‘100 Most Powerful Women’ list. She’s not a nobody no matter how much it bothers you to believe it. She’s had a very long career, she can keep it up or slow it down, it’s not going to make a big difference at this point. Would it be great if she could make it here too? Of course. But she’s certainly not losing if she doesn’t. Back to Johnny Depp (odd example as it is), if he moved elsewhere and married a person from that country. He might try to make it there too, he might succeed or might not. But no one would say he’s a nobody failure if he floundered there. He has his record of success and no one can take that away. Hate all you want, but just because some harpies on DCUM hate to see an Indian woman try her hand at Hollywood, and would rather take pot shots like she’s fat or ugly, doesn’t make her a nobody or less than.
Yes, JD is or was a big star. Eventually, this is the way of Hollywood. We love to see the idol fall way down and end life on penury or mental illness. PC will not end like that because for the longest time she has diversified so that she has an exit strategy. She will also continue to be in different industries and use her star power to accumulate wealth and influence. Education and upbringing matter when you become wildly successful, because you then know how to remain centered and balanced. This is the reason that uneducated people who are wildly successful also become pathetic losers inspire of their success.
