Apparently he didn't even tell Disney/Marvel that he was sick which has some interesting implications seeing as he's died and they're left with a billion-dollar franchise with no lead that was supposed to start filming in six months.

I was actually wondering if he may have delayed treatment or taken a break etc while filming.  I always thought actors had to be available as needed when filming on site. As the lead, I wouldn’t think he would have many days off to plan for treatments. I was also thinking there would be more side effects then. Not blaming at all, but was wondering. I have had minor health issues that required regular health appointments and I couldn’t even hide that (or rather, could have not shared but needed to take leave). [/quote]
