She took her two gay friends as witnesses to the island for the divorce. She was making her case. She has 3 kids and she will get child support. The kids are set because they will inherit some money from the dad. She did good for her kids.
Of course she'll get child support. But she'll get it based on Tennessee standards. I doubt they'll give her more than $10,000/month for the three kids which is just enough for private school and nannies. Unless she has a separate agreement that he pay private school for up to 15 years which will definitely reduce her negotiating power. The kids are all toddlers - she has to think long-term. And the kids will inherit when the dad is dead. He's 36 now. Healthy (as above posters have been shouting for days). Fit. Easy life. She's going to have to way 40 years for those kids to get his estate and by then...they may or may not be willing to share with her.
They have a prenup. Wouldn’t child support be provided for in there since they had kids before the prenup was written? Kids are 7-4. I’m sure she’ll get a decent chunk for them because he’s going to take care of his kids. But she’s not getting full custody of them. I think he’ll fight her for shared custody. They also already have his and hers houses so no need to worry about where to live. Altho I don’t think she’ll be happy long-term about having to stay in TN.
The 'her' house has been on the market since 2018. Its 20,000 square feet. There's no way a single mom with questionable income and two stores to pay rent on can afford a) the mortgage, and b) the upkeep.
