However, I am slightly worried that there may be an expectation for academy players to play in the summer if they want their spots back or to move up in the future. I'm not thrilled about it either, but I've made the decision that playing closer to home is better for our lives, and so I'm moving on with my life.[/quote]

Let's keep this all in perspective.....let's double your top-line estimate and say we have 500,000 tragic deaths.  That's still means that 99.85% of Americans will be ok at the end of this.  Assuming our lives aren't upended by job losses, homelessness, bankruptcy etc. in the meantime.....
