It is happening.  But more often than not st albans will lose the fight over talented kids who are also looking at Prep/Landon/Gonzaga. I suggest that st albans recruitment focus on talent present at Maret, Sidwell and GDS.  Before I get laughed out of the forum, there are at least 2 kids in each of these programs that are excellent lacrosse players and could likely start now on st albans.  The star FOGO from the last few years came through this route.  Soccer has also done this with some measurable success.[/quote]

Time to go do your homeworK kid. People attend schools like St. Albans to get a great education and be successful in their life. What percentage of students do you think actually are looking to play lacrosse as a career?! None! STA is much more diverse now which means the students have more diverse interests and I’m sorry lacrosse and football might not be the first priority for all students. They only have 80-85 kids in the grade and they need to have a variety of students for all sports. Sorry ![/quote]

Oh yes, no one else in private school (or public for that matter) in the DMV is going to school “to get a great education and be successful in their life”, only STA boys do. Did you all hear that people? Seriously? That statement is ignorant, uneducated, and embarrassing for the STA community to be associated with. It is the very reason so many people have a problem with the narcissistic and self proclaimed elitism that comes out of STA. Go take a cold shower and get over yourself. When your done we can have a real talk about how smart, academically successful and highly motivated boys (and girls) can play sports and be super star athletes also. Many kids can successfully multitask (and even play helmet sports), sorry if yours can’t. But please do the world (and STA) a favor and get over yourself.[/quote]
