MS Magnets truly used to be super high achieving kids from all over the county. So it was ‘worth it’ to send your kid there. But now, that is not the case. We know of many families who did choose the CES for ES but then adamantly declined the MS Magnet admission. Agree that it is a strange setup in MoCo. But MCPS is an incredibly dysfunctional school system, unfortunately. [/quote]
