You can avoid getting sick at the holidays by staying home from December 10-20. Do not allow anyone into your home. Live as though there's a plague out there. This is the the ONLY way to avoid germs. ALSO, if you're a truly responsible parent, you'd keep your child home during the contagious period BEFORE she shows symptoms. And if she vomits or has diarrhea, keep her home for the full 2 weeks after recovery so as not to contaminate any other kids. [/quote]
