1. I know of no places in NoVa I would not go out off fear of crime.  Not one.

2. Schools are still good. Some have more poor people. Some (in parts of Alexandria and Arlingoton have fewer).   Total number of poor in Arlington has decreased - increased in outer suburbs as the housing stock ages.

1) Hang out in the Alabama avenue area late at night.
2) The number of poor in Arlington have been priced out by rich liberals
3) There was not a decline in jobs because tax rates for business are much more favorable than in Montgomery County and other local areas of MD. We were still somewhat red. You will now see that change and I predict as taxes go up, companies will move, lay off and/or otherwise farm out their jobs. Net bonus is a lot of Marylanders will lose their Virginia jobs.
