Would-be candidates are putting out feelers and the GOP is mulling over all options. The first one is still, unfortunately, to deny and defend the President. They're just monitoring public opinion to find out whether that can last them until the election.

I am as anti-Trump as you can get but you are all deluded. I just stated this to my DH (liberal, me not a liberal) this morning.  He's not called Teflon Don for nothing.

You are all thinking like a person who has common sense and a reasonable level of ethics and morals. Trump has neither of those qualities. He's a bit of a sociopath, and he WILL.NOT.GO.DOWN without a huge fight and stink. He know his base will cause chaos if he were to be impeached or pushed out by Rs. He thrives on this kind of chaos.
