I guess the Frozen 2 trailers did supersede Moana in my mind.  But I dunno, other than some issues about costumes, POC of DCUM don't seem all that enthused about Moana.  My kids found it scarier than Frozen, so we haven't watched it as much, tbh.  [/quote]

Moana is number 1 in my house, and we're white people. DD LOVES it and DS too. Know all the songs and love how brave she is. They also like Frozen but Moana is the one who they want to emulate. [/quote]

I know Moana is a Disney film but the animation work and character design makes it look more like Pixar. It didn't have that traditional Disney feel (like for instance the Princess and the Frog did), which is why I think its popularity lags.

PTF sucked simply because she spent 80% of the film as a frog. I would have loved it more without that.[/quote]
