[/quote] Ok, 2008 is an outlier and probably not a good example because next year's U12 DA (and it's not technically a DA) is the combination of the U11 Academy 1 and Academy 2, both of which are about a dozen players. That half of Academy 2 was merged with Academy 1 is to be expected as the U12 team will be at least 20-24 boys on the roster. At other ages, I think the number of boys that joined the DA midseason from other clubs greatly exceeds the number of boys promoted. For example, in our year I think something like 4-6 new boys were brought into the club from other DA programs over the course of the year, and only 2 were promoted from the Blue team at the end of the year.
