I’ve never prosecuted a case. Never had to argue anything in court. But am a lawyer in government. And anytime some political appointee (I understand she would be elected) comes in with zero experience or expertise in what we do, they have no credibility with staff and this become largely ineffective. Can’t imagine it being any different in a prosecutors office. What respect would she have making strategic decisions in a prosecution of a violent criminal?  I’m not talking about the decision of whether to prosecute. I’m talking about all of the big  decisions that have to be made throughout the course of an investigation and prosecution.  Being the CA isn’t just about deciding who to prosecute and for what — there is a tremendous amount of “how” that she has no experience doing. [/quote]
