It used to be that only a very few kids were in GT. It needs to be eliminated. Long ago, it was based ONLY on the IQ tests. But, today, there are groups that prep for those tests, too. If a kid has already seen the test and practiced on it, it does not reflect IQ. An IQ test is supposed to see how kids reason out and answer based on their own reasoning. Today, many have been told the right answers. Eliminate AAP and provide a challenging curriculum to every student. [/quote]
