False.  During the GOP Primary, in September 2015, Fusion GPS was paid $1m by a never-Trumper GOP donor to dig up dirt on Trump.  That was before Hillary or the FBI even got involved with Fusion GPS.[/quote]

The Russian connections were more than just that.  They also included Carter Page (a previously known potential Russian asset) and George Papadopoulos bragging to the Australian High Commissioner to the UK about Russian help.  It should be noted that those two individuals were 40% of the Campaign's declared foreign policy advisors.[/quote]
